Teen hurt after bicycle hit by car, airlifted to Seattle

A teenager on a bicycle riding along High School Road was hit by a vehicle shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The bicycle rider — first identified as a 14-year-old boy — was hurt in the accident and reportedly had neck injuries.

Emergency responders were planning to transport the injured bicyclist by medical helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
