Jakubik named president of Bainbridge Island School Board

The Bainbridge Island School Board has done some shuffling: Sheila Jakubik will be board president, with former president Mev Hoberg stepping into the vice president position.

The changes were approved unanimously at the board’s Aug. 25 meeting.

In addition, Lynn Smith will serve as the board’s legislative representative during the 2016-2017 school year.
