Application filed for new housing development

The city of Bainbridge Island is now reviewing an application for a new housing development in downtown Winslow.

The development, known as Bainbridge Landing, would incorporate a 115-unit apartment building, 25 townhomes and a 1-acre park on a 4.7-acre lot on Ferncliff Avenue, just north of the Harbor Square condominiums near the ferry terminal.

Olympic Property Group is spearheading the project. Charlie Wenzlau is the architect.
