MONDAY, JULY 4
8:09 a.m. A woman on NE Klickitat Road said she found all the mailboxes in the neighborhood had been left open when she checked for her mail that morning at 7:15 a.m. She also found a bunch of mail in her box that was not hers, but addressed to homes on Ferncliff Avenue NE.
SUNDAY, JULY 3
7:16 p.m. A 70-year-old Bainbridge man reported someone in an empty building in the 200 block of Grow Avenue.
The building was scheduled to be demolished, but when the man went inside the structure that night, he saw movement and thought someone went out the back door.
It looked like someone had been living in the vacant building. A sleeping bag was found, along with a large amount of trash, food, tools and other items.
