Eudell “Dell” Diltz passed away on March 25, 2016.
She was born on May 7, 1923 in Tacoma, and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle.
After marrying Robert J. Diltz, Dell and her husband moved to Bainbridge Island, where they raised their three children. They truly enjoyed the island lifestyle of boating, playing bridge (life master) and golf.
Dell sang and performed in the first Bainbridge Light Opera Association, “Down in the Valley.” Dell also sang and performed in “Merry Widow” and “The Song of Norway,” to name a few.
She will be forever missed. She was preceded in death by husband Robert J. Diltz and is survived by children Kathy Lueck of Arizona, Bob Diltz of California and Terri Marr of Idaho; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will gather on Bainbridge Island later this summer for a celebration of her life.
