The Bainbridge Island-Seattle route was knocked down to one-boat service on the morning of the Fourth of July after the vessel MV Wenatchee was taken out of service.
Washington State Ferries said the ferry was taken offline due to necessary repairs.
The loss of the Wenatchee prompted the cancelation of the 8:45 and 10:25 a.m. sailings from Bainbridge and the 9:35 and 11:25 a.m. sailings from Seattle.
WSF officials said they are working to restore the Bainbridge-Seattle route back to two-boat service.
