Johnnie Lee Horner passed away June 18, 2016 at her home in Kingston.

She was born on April 8, 1936 and was 80.

Johnnie worked as a primary grade teacher in Battleground and in Buhl, Idaho for many years. She was an active member in the PEO.

Johnnie is survived by her husband Matt L. Horner of Kingston; her son Scott Horner of Bainbridge Island; and grandson Skylar L Horner of Seattle.

She was preceded in death by her son Amos Lee Horner, brother Sidney Snider and Debbie Horton.

Family and friends are respectively invited to attend the memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Kianna Lodge.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society or The Methodist Church.
