Dr. Seuss favorite visits Eagle Harbor Books

The Cat in the Hat himself recently visited Eagle Harbor Book Company in downtown Winslow to lead a crowd of excited budding bibliophiles in a reading pledge in honor of Read Across America day, the annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child to celebrate reading on March 2 — the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
