WEDNESDAY, FEB. 3

5:05 p.m. A resident said the contents of his trash cans were stolen 48 hours before they were supposed to be picked up in the 9500 block of Green Spot Place NE.

9:42 p.m. A 42-year-old Bainbridge Island man reported the theft of a Cannondale bike from an apartment complex in the 200 block of Camelia Loop NE.

The bike was valued at $750. It had been locked to a wood pallet in the man’s carport with a heavy duty cable.

The man said other bikes in the apartment complex had missing wheels.
