Don’t just observe, do something about it | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

As a naturalized citizen of this country who counts his blessings every day, I believe the time has come for us to depart from “politics as usual” and find a better way forward.

Let’s start by recognizing a difference between a presidential candidate and the presidency. The concept of the “Presidency” is a noble one. It deserves recognition, respect, and support. It deserves to have a spotlight focused on it for all that it stands for. So let’s do it. Let’s not just settle for a bloom on a rose, let’s put a bloom on the “Presidency.” If that suggests a possible new presidential candidate, so be it. Perhaps it’s time has come.
