TRAVEL ADVISORY | Busy ferries expected for Seahawks game

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavy traffic Thursday, Sept. 3 as the Seattle Seahawks take on the Oakland Raiders in a preseason football game at CenturyLink Field.

The game starts at 7 p.m. Ferry riders should be prepared for long lines eastbound in the afternoon and westbound in the evening.

To expedite loading, passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase their ferry tickets.
