The Bainbridge High varsity baseball team scored a second playoff win Saturday at Skagit Valley Dream Field and secured for themselves a spot in the state final four semifinal championship game later this week.

The Spartans scored a 3-0 shutout over Lynnwood in their second game Saturday, having defeated the Ferndale Golden Eagles earlier in the day.

The BHS squad will next play Mercer Island at 4 p.m. Friday, May 29 at Husky Ballpark.

The winner of that game will then play either Shorewood or Central Kitsap the very next day for the State title.
