Johnny Hoffstater, 59, passed away Dec. 30, 2014 following a brave fight with cancer. He was at home, surrounded by his daughters and family.

Born Sept 21, 1955, Johnny graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1974. He was a respected heavy equipment operator, demolition derby driver and a go-to guy when anyone was in need.

Johnny is survived by his daughter Andrea (Kory), daughters Elizabeth and Nichole; siblings Holly, Heather, Scott and parents, John and Marilyn Hoffstater.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 10 at Fort Flagler State Park. All are welcome. A potluck reception to follow.
