National Weather Service: Chance of snow showers Sunday

The National Weather Service office in Seattle is predicting a chance of snow showers on Bainbridge Island Sunday night to cap a wet weekend.

Forecasters said there is a 100-percent chance of rain in the afternoon on Saturday, Dec. 27.

Showers are likely Saturday night, followed by a 20 percent chance of showers Sunday.

Sunday’s forecast is for mostly cloudy weather, with the temperature dropping to a low around 32 degrees. There is also a chance of rain and snow showers, but little or no snow accumulation expected.
