Take a moment to thank our postal people | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

It is the time now, as it is every year, to say something nice to the hardworking folks at the Bainbridge Post Offices. While the good people who work for major corporations like FEDEX and UPS certainly do yeoman duty for their companies, we would be remiss if we overlooked the people who daily, in good weather and lousy or even hazardous, make sure we get our mail.

This is especially the fact at Christmas as the Post Office men and women man their posts in the face of tons of people also pressured to get cards, packages of all kinds and other stuff to family, friends and business contacts right down to the last moment.

So, since all readers get their mail right at home every day, it would be proper and right for each of your readers to take a moment to thank your postal persons.
