Eagle Harbor High School organized it first Career Day on Nov. 3. Spearheaded by Denise Corso, special education teacher at EHHS, the goal of Career Day was to invite professionals from the community to share information about their career or craft with the EHHS students.
More than 25 professionals gave presentations about their vocations to the students. They engaged the students with activities, hands-on demonstrations and takeaways.
The school and parents teamed to provide lunch for the speakers. Principal Dave Shockley thanked all the community members who took time out of their busy schedules to talk about their career paths to the students.
