U.S. should stay out of disputes in foreign lands | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Every day we hear about the horrible executions of Americans by ISIS. No one ever asks why is ISIS killing Americans?

They are attacking us because we attacked them first. We blew up dozens of their people with bombs for political reasons.

Is blowing up people that have never attacked us any less horrible then cutting off someones head in retaliation for our attacks? Does America not expect to be attacked when we attack others?

Why do terrorists attack us? If you ask the terrorist they all pretty much say the same thing. They are attacking us because we are in their country trying to force America’s will upon them under force of arms. If someone invaded our nation and killed hundreds of thousand of our people, destroyed our infrastructure and caused massive upheaval wouldn’t you grab a gun and fight them? That has always been the American way of freedom.

If we want to stop terrorism in America, wasting tax money and the death of our service people all we have to do is get out of other peoples’ nations and let them decide their own future. To stop terrorism all we have to do is let others chose their own path.
