To the editor:

Here’s a shout out to downtown Bainbridge businesses for putting on such a fun and delicious trick-or-treat event this Halloween.

Tell me, where else do the shops give away gourmet ice cream, fresh-baked cookies and chocolate crepes hot off the griddle? I am amazed. Thank you!

I try to remind them often, but my kids don’t know how good they’ve got it.
