Wolfe is top choice for commissioner | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

I believe that Ed Wolfe is perhaps the most qualified candidate that we have ever had for a Kitsap commissioner position. I have known Ed for two decades and he is one of the finest people on this planet.

Look at his record of service in our county and country.  Officer and leader in the Bremerton Rotary Club, Boys & Girls Club, Kitsap Historical Society, Admiral Theatre Society, Olympic College Foundation and numerous other civic organizations. Past President of both the Puget Sound Naval Bases Association and the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce. Graduate of George Mason School of Law and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, founder of the Wolfe Law Firm in Silverdale and Bremerton, former Judge Pro Tem in Gig Harbor, Bremerton, Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Municipal District Court.

Ed is a veteran of the United States Army and served his country as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and United States Ambassador. These positions were appointments by the President of the United States.

He is married to Wendy Miles, who is equally active in our county. Ed will bring some balance and new blood to the Kitsap County Courthouse.  I enthusiastically endorse Ed and urge you to support him at the polls.
