Pookie and Tonker are this week’s adoptable pets

This week’s adoptable pets are Pookie and Tonker.

For adoption through PAWS:

Pookie is a 1½-year-old shorthaired tortoiseshell who came in when her owner moved.

She is OK with the other cats she’s met at the Cattery, but does not like to share her people time with them. She really likes to be in your lap and part of her person’s daily routine.

The Pleasant Beach site is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

This handsome boy is Tonker, a 5-year-old male Shepherd Ridgeback mix, who enjoys running in the pasture, lying in your lap, outdoor adventures and treats!
