Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavy traffic through Sunday, July 20 due to the popular annual Sequim Lavender Festival on the Olympic Peninsula.

Travelers should plan ahead and arrive at the terminal early in order to make their desired sailing.
