Heavy passenger traffic after the Seattle Seahawks victory parade has pushed ferries off-schedule on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle and Seattle-Bremerton routes.

Washington State Ferries reported the M/V Tacoma is 30 minutes behind schedule on the Bainbridge route, which has impacted the 4:35 p.m. sailing from Bainbridge Island to Seattle and is also expected to delay the 5:30 p.m. sailing from Seattle to Bainbridge Island.

Ferries from Bainbridge Island were packed with passengers Wednesday morning on the sailings before the Seahawks parade, which drew a crowd estimated at nearly one million to downtown Seattle.
