Two people were injured in a multiple car crash near the Clearwater Casino on Highway 305 Monday.
Units from North Kitsap Fire & Rescue, the Poulsbo Fire Department and the Bainbridge Island Fire Department were called to the scene just before 8 a.m. Dec. 16.
One person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, while the other injured person is being airlifted, said Jody Matson, a spokeswoman for the Poulsbo Fire Department.
Traffic is being delayed on both sides of the Agate Pass Bridge because a light pole was knocked into the roadway, and officials said travelers on Highway 305 should expect long delays. The bridge is expected to be closed for an hour.
The airlift was being conducted at Bainbridge Island’s Station 21 on Madison Avenue just after 9 a.m.
