Ovation! holds auditions for ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’

Ovation! Musical Theatre  Bainbridge will hold additional auditions for its upcoming production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” for the pivotal adult male tenor (or mature teen) role of Simon Zealot and to add several more members to the adult male and female ensemble.

Auditions are from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

For the adult ensemble audition, prepare a song from a similar show and bring music in your key for the music director.

For the role of Simon Zealot, a pop or rock song is also OK.

The production is directed by Ron Milton with musical direction by Brandon Peck, choreography by Debbie Pierce and costume design by April Spain and will be presented Dec. 6-22, with a live rock orchestra.
