Letter writer was right about small government | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Pete Brady is to be thanked and commended for his letter, “Limited government should be our aim,” (Aug. 2).

Government’s principal purpose is to protect people and their property from harm by others, not to take the property of some to distribute to others.
