Voicemail system goes down at Bainbridge Island City Hall

The voicemail system at Bainbridge Island City Hall went on the fritz sometime before noon Monday.

Tech crews are working to fix the problem, but a city worker said there was no word on when the voicemail system will be back up and running.

Phone service for city hall, however, remains active.

The planning department issued an email notice about the issue. The department relies on voicemail for its permitting process.

Building permit and inspection requests can be sent to inspections@bainbridgewa.gov, while permit status questions can be sent to bldpermit@bainbridgewa.gov while the voicemail system is down.
