Bainbridge Library celebrates birthday of Hans Christian Andersen today

Beloved children’s writer Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday is April 2, as well as International Children’s Book Day. In celebration of these two events, local storyteller Mahria Potter will share stories from around the world.

The free program is from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Following the tales, Potter will lead a short workshop in creating and sharing stories.

The program is for families and kids of all ages. A parent or guardian should accompany young children.
