Forbes leads in race for Superior Court

Jennifer Forbes of Poulsbo was winning against Karen Klein of Bainbridge Island in early vote returns on Election Night.

Forbes was in front with 66 percent of the vote for Kitsap Superior Court Judge Position 7, while Klein had 32 percent.

Forbes beat out all other candidates in during the primaries last August by 49.5 percent of the vote.

The four-year superior court position carries a $148,832 annual salary.
