Don’t vote for Olsen the gadfly | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

A recent letter cites James Olsen’s conservative positions as a reason to support him for 23rd District Representative.

While I disagree with many of Olsen’s positions, the main reason I oppose him is his complete lack of community involvement beyond the role of “gadfly.”

Contrast that with Rep. Drew Hansen, who has volunteered for Bainbridge Schools, served on the Board of the Olympic College Foundation, and on the Community Economic Revitalization Board.

We are fortunate to have a strong, knowledgeable and involved community member like Drew Hansen as our representative in Olympia.
