Sloat signs to row with UP

Bridget Sloat, a senior at Bainbridge High School, has signed with the University of Portland.

She will be joining their Division I women’s rowing program in the fall. The Portland Pilots are headed by Bill Zack, former assistant coach at UCLA.

Sloat has been a varsity rower with the Bainbridge Island Rowing Club since 2010.
