As the campaign for Bainbridge City Council comes to a close, I am increasingly impressed by the variety of people from all around the island who have chosen to endorse Anne Blair.

These individuals recognize that Anne brings to the council a strong record of leadership and problem solving. They have confidence in her strategic planning experience.

They know that Anne brings both the ability and the willingness to do the hard work of collaboration and consensus-building that our council so badly needs.

These endorsements support Anne’s election because the writers recognize that her clear-sighted commitment to finding the “common good” will help our City Council to arrive at positive, long-lasting solutions to our current problems as well as to those that will arrive in the future.
