Family rescued by firefighters, friends | Letters | Dec. 10

We would like to extend our extreme gratitude to the Bainbridge Fire Department for saving our dog and for their terrific firefighting abilities during the recent fire at our home. YAY FIREFIGHTERS!

Also thanks to the wonderful Aleta for being the hub of a gracious and giving community outpouring.

Because of all of you, all our dear friends at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church and the Island Moms, we had blankets, clothing, beds and warm meals. Thank you all. This is truly a wonderful community. Hold each other tight and have a joyful holiday.
