Harvest Fair’s waste kept to a minimum | Letters | Nov. 12

The Zero Waste Initiative would like to thank the many volunteers who helped to make the Sept. 26 Harvest Fair a low-waste event.

We would particularly like to thank the volunteers from the high school’s Earth Service Corps for their efforts to reduce the island’s waste stream from the Harvest Fair. Five bins of compost, three bins of recycling and two bins of trash were collected.
