Rain or shine, Karen Nakata, Seafood manager at Town and Country, takes her daily two-mile walk during her lunch hour. According to the National Weather Service, local flood watches remain in effect throughout Kitsap County and much of Western Washington this weekend. Bainbridge is expected to receive multiple inches of rain in the first significant downpour of fall.
