Spartans too much for Cleveland hoopsters

The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team scored their second win of the year Dec. 18 on the road against Cleveland.

A 57-26 victory, it upped the island squad’s overall season record to 2-4.

The Spartans returned home Dec. 20 to host West Seattle, and played just once more at home, on Monday against Kingston, before the end ends.

They next return home, after a series of three away games, to host Chief Sealth at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8.
