The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team scored a 49-40 win on the road against Lakeside Jan. 22.

The victory upped the island squad’s overall season record to 8-7 (6-5 in conference).

Next, they returned home to host Ingraham at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.

Three games remain on the regular season schedule, including two at home: 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3 against Garfield and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 against Lincoln.
