Field-Bennett found the back of the net a minute later and nearly scored in the 26th minute on a pair of breakaway attempts. Bremerton’s goalie Malakiah Smith kept the Knights within reach.

Bremerton took its first shot on goal with three minutes remaining in the half. However, it was an easy save for the Spartans’ goalie.

In the second half, Bremerton pushed the tempo early. The Knights scored on a corner kick to slim the lead to 3-1. Despite scoring, the Spartans kept dominating the possession.

However, the Spartans struggled to get the ball past Smith. Therefore, the second half was very quiet. The only other attempt was a Spartans goal in the 15th minute that was called back by an offside call.
