Spartan boys shoot to 15-10 water polo win

Mercer Island came up short against the Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

The final score saw the Spartans up 15-10.

It was the island squad’s fourth outing of the year, and their first away match.

Goals for Bainbridge High were scored by Oskar Bannister (four), Eamon Greathouse (three), Nate Lapin (three), Harrison Villella (two), Gabe Nathan (two) and Marshall Whittlesey (one).

It was a likewise stellar night for the JV Spartans, as well, who bested their host 12-1.

The Spartans returned home to host Auburn Riverside, a non-league match, on Friday, Sept. 20.
