Senior Night slump ends 62-52 for BHS boys

BAINBRIDGE – The final home game of the regular season ended with the Spartans down 62-52 against the visitors from Ingraham Tuesday, Jan. 30. It was the ninth straight loss for the Bainbridge High boys varsity basketball team, and dropped their overall season record to 4-15.

They have yet to win a league game (0-14 in conference).

It was also Senior Night, and the island team’s upperclassmen — Ethan Schulte, Ben Kirsch, Jack Barnes, Joey Terry, Sky Weschler and Charlie Hoberg — were recognized.

With one game remaining on the regular season schedule, the Spartans will commence their possible last outing of the year at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2 on the road against Eastside Catholic (14-4 overall).
