The girls water polo team defeated Kentridge 19-3 Tuesday in the first round of the girls state water polo championships.

Anna Wood led Bainbridge scorers with six goals, while Jeanette Swanson added four and Taylor Gawlik and Alicia Konkel each scored three times. Kalise Ball (two) and Elizabeth Furman (one) rounded out the scoring. BHS soccer, fastpitch, track and girls lacrosse teams all have league tournament competition today.
