It was an excellent game for us.The win moved Bainbridge to 8-2 in the Olympic League, 9-2 overall, and kept them one game behind North Kitsap, who the Spartans visited Tuesday.The JV team took a 9-8 thriller from Olympic’s JV to move its record to 9-2. Both teams were hitting well on the cold, windy afternoon, and were knotted at eight apiece going into the bottom of the last inning.Clayton Harrum singled for the Sparts, then stole two bases to put himself on third. He scored the winning run when Dustin Lownsberry laid down a perfect squeeze bunt. Steve Tawresey picked up the win in relief, recording two strikeouts in an inning and a third.”
