Panthers blank Spartans in soccer

A quick-scoring Panther team proved too much for the Spartans as Seattle Prep bested Bainbridge 5-0 in girls varsity soccer Tuesday.

Prep scored two goals near the start of the game and the Spartans never recovered offensively in the matchup at Bainbridge High’s Memorial Stadium.

The loss dropped Bainbridge to an overall record of 1-4-1 (0-3 in Metro League play).

The Spartan girls C-Team, playing Prep in Seattle, also fell to defeat Tuesday, 4-0.
