SEATTLE – Bainbridge High School sailors left their mark at the recent Sail Sand Point Regatta on Lake Washington. More than 170 sailors from 24 regional high schools competed in the event.
SEATTLE – The Spartans’ girls fastpitch game against West Seattle on March 31 was suspended in the fourth inning due to weather (lightning and rain).
The Bainbridge boys varsity soccer team managed their second shutout of the season against the visitors from O’Dea.

The Spartans continued their 2015 season this week with an away game against Eastside Catholic Monday in Sammamish.
It’s Spring Break for the Spartans of Bainbridge High, and most of the BHS athletes have a light week scheduled.
Tennis season this year began for the Spartans with a miracle. They won their first match, 7-4 against Bishop Blanchet, but that was not the phenomenon that got folks talking.
The Spartans return to the court after Spring Break for a matchup against the Bulldogs.
BAINBRIDGE – Overtime play has historically not been kind to the Spartans. In fact, last year’s May 20 10-9 OT win over the visiting Skyline Spartans in the first-round of the playoffs was the first-ever achieved by a Bainbridge High School boys lacrosse team, according to team officials, and again last week, the extra minutes proved brutal for the team.
SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity soccer team upheld their so-far perfect season record (3-0) and won their first game on the road 3-1 against Ingraham on Monday, March 23.
Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31 at Seabold Hall for a presentation by newspaper columnist, author and fly fisherman Dave Shorett.
BAINBRIDGE – The sweet smell of success stuck to the Bainbridge Spartans even through the sweat of their second soccer game of the season last week and the varsity boys came away with their second consecutive shutout win at home, 2-0 over the visitors from O’Dea.
BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High School sailing team hosted the second North West Interscholastic Sailing Association regatta of the season Saturday, March 14, which saw 16 teams competing from 10 schools — three from as far away as Portland, Oregon — at the Eagle Harbor course in the district qualifier.
