SAMMAMISH – The Bainbridge varsity girls basketball team lost on the road against the Eastside Catholic Crusaders last week.

The final score was 64-39.

The top Spartan scorers were Kayla Buchmeier (10 points), Julie Feikes (eight), Paige Brigham (six) and Katie Usellis (five).

BHS fell behind early in the game, and entered the second half on the small end of the 30-14 score.

The situation did not improve for Bainbridge as the Crusaders managed to score a solid 17 points each in the second, third and fourth quarter to put the game out of reach for the Spartans.
