NK, BI boys, girls all win Tuesday

Tuesday night, Bainbridge won at Kingston 77-44 and North Kitsap beat Sequim in boys basketball 87-40 in Olympic League play.

With the win, the Vikings stay atop the Olympic League standings with a 3-0 record, 6-0 overall. They also beat Kelso Saturday 72-51.

Bainbridge improves to 2-1 in league and 4-1 overall. Kingston drops to 1-1 in league and 3-1 overall.

Early last week Bainbridge and North Kitsap both won their boys basketball game. The Spartans won 57-44 over Sequim, while the Vikings trounced Olympic 96-21.

In girls basketball Tuesday, North Kitsap lost badly to Sequim 65-36 while Bainbridge beat Kingston 67-54.

The Viking girls dropped to 2-1 in league, 4-1 overall. Kingston fell to 2-1 in league, 3-1 overall. BHS improved to 1-2 in league, 2-3 overall.

The Viking girls also had an easy victory, 59-24 over Olympic. However the Spartan girls fell to Sequim 73-51.

Kingston’s girls basketball team beat Olympic 64-51 last week at home. The Kingston girls won their game earlier in the week over North Mason 46-30.
