BHS golfers notch big win over O’Dea

BAINBRIDGE - The visitors from O’Dea found themselves saying, “Oh, darn,” after suffering a 138-86 Bainbridge beating at the hands of the boys varsity golf team.

BAINBRIDGE – The visitors from O’Dea found themselves saying, “Oh, darn,” after suffering a 138-86 Bainbridge beating at the hands of the boys varsity golf team Monday.

Island teammates Colin Campbell and Andy Becker were the co-medalists of the match, each notching a score of 37 on the par-35 course. The best score on the O’Dea side was a 43 finish by Jack Spragins.

Brooks Wallace chipped in a 38 for Bainbridge, and Thomas Crowley and Garrett Aichele each managed 40.

Brooks Lierle finished the day with a 42, Zach Cooper a 43 and Tad Grindeland a 44 as well.

It was the Spartans’ third straight win this year, earning them a flawless 3-0 overall record.
