The Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team was defeated 12-10 by Roosevelt at home Thursday, Sept. 12.

It was the island squad’s second outing of the year and leveled their overall season record to 1-all.

Goals for Bainbridge were scored by Jacques Defawe (three), Harrison Villella (three), Nate Lapin (one), Gabe Nathan (one), Marshall Whittlesey (one) and Thomas Defawe (one).

The Spartans again played host on Tuesday, Sept. 17 for Curtis High, and will next play at home at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 against Auburn Riverside.
