BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge junior varsity girls basketball team remains undefeated with an impressive season record of 10-0 after claiming wins against Eastside Catholic and Ingraham High last week.

The Spartans fought hard and came away victorious against Eastside Catholic late last week with a final score of 41-27.

“Paulina Bredy and Kiera Havill led the team in scoring,” said Spartan Head Coach Ian Havill.

“The Spartan press was responsible for 14 steals and encouraged Eastside Catholic to turn the ball over 37 times,” he added.

The team was victorious again on Friday, Jan. 10 with a blowout 54-8 victory over Ingraham.

“Freshman Sophie Taylor was six-for-six from the field with three assists and a block to lead the Spartans against the Rams,” Havill said. “Kamie Coryell tossed in 10 points and grabbed seven boards.”

“The Spartans played great team basketball with 14 assists and 12 players making their mark in the scoring column,” Havill added.
