Bainbridge girls lacrosse stays at top of division against Curtis, Stadium

The Bainbridge High School girls lacrosse team easily handled Curtis early last week, and also won in a matchup against Stadium.

The Bainbridge High School girls lacrosse team easily handled Curtis early last week, and also won in a matchup against Stadium.

Against Curtis, BHS scored 22 goals and gave up just three. Kelsey Mackin scored four for the Spartans; Sallie Marx scored three and added an assist.

Late last week, it was almost an identical result against Stadium, this team the Spartans allowed six goals but again scored 22.

Mackin scored six, and Bea Sheffer and Olivia Smith each scored two.

Bainbridge (8-1-1) is on top of their division with a record and faces hot-playing Klahowya on Monday, April 30. The contest has a 6 p.m. start at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale.

Klahowya (5-5-0) coasted to its fifth win of the season with a 19-5 girls high school lacrosse defeat of Bellarmine Prep, Thursday at Mason Middle School in Tacoma.
