The Bainbridge Spartans beat the North Kitsap Vikings 126-56 in boys swimming Dec. 17 at the NK Community Pool in Poulsbo.

The matchup marked the first time the two teams had squared off against each other this season. Bainbridge won all three relay races, and Spartans Sota Inoue, Ryan Rich and Romy Greer each won two individual events. NK performed well in diving, with Vikings placing in the top three.

“You never know when somebody’s gonna have a great swim,” Bainbridge coach Krista Pal said. “So every meet matters [and] every race matters.”
